Todd M. Casey - Fine Art

Just found out I was a finalist for the RayMar Art Contest for my painting "Books with Book and Letters". Again, I'm humbled to be in such good company and to have been picked as a finalist. Warren Chang was the judge for this month. Here is a painting that I just finished for a book. Also below is the color study. I was trying not to show the skull in the Vanitas painting and worked the idea of the shadow coming in from out of the frame. Ultimately, I ended up canning the idea and went with something a little more traditional. Best, Todd
